Susan Scherl is a passionate, driven, advocate of animal welfare.  She left New York City to move out West and follow her dream – to open an animal shelter!  She was the Shelter Manager for the Humane Society of Southern Az. before joining forces with us.

Kayomee Daroowalla, DVM, is owner and operator of Benarda Veterinary Hospital which she opened in 2000.  From childhood her passion in life is animals.  Her ultimate dream always involved starting an animal shelter.

Karen Hoyt, a founder of The Waldorf School for children, has extensive experience organizing non-profits. She is very dedicated to animal causes and very excited to be part of this venture.
