Harley and Zoe
Harley and Zoey were in a litter of four puppies brought to Hope at four months old by Dr. Daroowalla. She found the pups in Mexico where they had had no socialization, had not learned to play, and were the most frightened of people that I had seen in my eight years of volunteering at Hope. They have learned to PLAY! They chase each other, romp with toys, and come when called. They now take treats from good hearted strangers and lick us.

We love our high flying, adventurous girl, and while her beautiful looks have gotten a lot of interest, she had been passed by because of her feisty personality. When Kiddle came to us, we were told she was first found as a kitten when a hawk dropped her. We thought that might explain her high flying ways, as she always found the highest perches in the shelter.
